Rebecca korfhage--the hollinden team

Rebecca became a licensed real estate agent in 2000. Rebecca’s dream back then was to become a Realtor and purchase a home so her small family could get out of an apartment they were living in at the time. She wanted to see her kids playing outside in their own yard. It seemed like an impossible feat. Two small children, no business background, a bank account that held dollars on any given day. Rebecca says that her dream at times seemed like it was meant for someone else. However, it became a reality in May of 2001.

The dream and memory of wanting a home, Rebecca says she carries with her daily. The overwhelming feeling of exposure. Finances, (or lack of) being laid out on the table for all to see, applying for grants, paying off medical bills to clean up credit, getting a second or third part-time job to save more money, thinking how is this ever going to happen and when am I going to understand this whole process?

Those feelings and thoughts are what goes through the minds of many first time home buyers. Becoming overloaded with anxiety and fears, thinking it's impossible are very real issues and many people have no idea where to start. That's where Rebecca as an agent comes in.

These people and families get her up every day, they keep her excited about her job. Her heart swells every time she is blessed to help someone find and purchase a home. To Rebecca, her job is serious and she doesn't take it lightly. Everyone is important and everyone deserves the opportunity and the help to achieve their dream of owning a home.  Real estate isn't just a job for Rebecca, it's a chance for her to help someone do something they never thought they could do.
