To access this lovely lake centered development take I-71 to Crestwood Exit 14. Travel Southeast on Hwy 329 Bypass (Veterans Memorial Parkway) and turn right on old Hwy 329. Most of your daily shopping will be done in Louisville around the Westport Rd or Brownsboro Rd Corridor near the Gene Snyder Freeway (I-265) where you'll find places like Kroger,and Walmart and Lowes.  If you are looking to do some major shopping you can visit The Paddock Shops (Formerly the Summit) or Springhurst Towne Center.  You'll find everything you could need at these two shopping venues.  Another option is Old Brownsboro Crossing on HWY 22 where you'll find places like the Lowes, Cabelas, and Costco.   This is also where you'll find East End medical facilities such as Norton Brownsboro Hospital and Kosair Children's Hospital. 


Homes in this development are serviced by the highest rank school system in Kentucky, Oldham County Public Schools. Students living here would start out attending Kenwood Station Elementary.  In middle school, they would attend South Oldham Middle and finish up at South Oldham High School.  You can click on the Oldham County school link above to search other street names, to find out what school services that address.


Golf if always a popular outdoor activity.  This area has several choices. Oldham County Country Club which offers individual and family memberships with such amenities as a beautiful, large swimming pool, and the ever-popular baby pool. Two tennis courts are also conveniently located near the clubhouse and pools. GlenOaks Country Club is located in Prospect.  It offers a great golf course, Olympic-sized swimming pool and a couple of restaurants. For a little more adventure, you could drive to LaGrange and enjoy the Eagle Creek Golf Course.  This is a public course owned by the city of LaGrange.

Oldham County other recreational activities include a YMCA and Oldham County Aquatic Center.  Plus, all school athletic programs are also very popular events to attend.
