SHORT SALE HOMES IN LOUISVILLE KY

There may even be one on your street or in your subdivision. The severity of short sale homes in Louisville would be the one thing that is different. We saw home prices in the Greater Louisville Area market go up in the 2005-2007 timeframe, but it did not skyrocket. Therefore, home prices have not had as far to fall.

Short Sales occur when there is not enough money to pay the bank from net proceeds of the home sale. Short Sales can be caused by many things. Among them; divorce, job loss, medical bills, etc. Short Sales can be complicated by the number of liens or judgments and what banks are involved. Short Sales in the Louisville market are an alternative to foreclosure. Another less talked about home sale is the Strategic Short Sale. Here a homeowner can pay the mortgage but chooses not to.
