Inside Northwood Estates homes, you’ll find 1,800 to 3,300 above grade square feet. Just about every home in this neighborhood has a basement and majority of the basements are finished. On average, three to five bedrooms and two to four bathrooms. 

SHOPPING, DINING, AND RECREATION NEAR NORTHWOOD ESTATES

Grocery shopping is a short distance away from Northwood Estates. There is a Kroger and Walmart within a few miles of Northwood Estates. Major shopping malls and centers are going to be found in Louisville. The Paddock Shops is about ten miles away from Northwood Estates and is probably the closest shopping center. Other options in Louisville for shopping are Saint Matthews Mall, Oxmoor Mall, and Westport Village. Each of these shopping centers is 30 minutes or less from Northwood Estates. Downtown La Grange is a good option for specialty stores. You can find antique shops, consignment shops, and bridal stores in Downtown La Grange. There are a few restaurants in Crestwood that you could try. A few of the restaurants in Crestwood are Red Pepper Deli, Gustavo’s Mexican Grill, Rikishi, Texican’s Barbeque Pit, and A Taste of Thai. 
A great place to visit in Crestwood is a National Register of Historic Place, Yew Dell Botanical Gardens. Yew Dell Botanical Gardens is known internationally for its gorgeous plants. Yew Dell Botanical Gardens offers classes and tours of their exceptional gardens. 

SCHOOLS NEAR NORTHWOOD ESTATES

Northwood Estates is in the Oldham County School District. The following schools are the home schools for Northwood Estates: Camden Station Elementary, South Oldham Middle School, and South Oldham High School. South Oldham Middle School is one of the four highest-performing schools in the Oldham County School District.
