SHOPPING AROUND WILLIAMSGATE

Williamsgate is located in Crestwood KY so most of your everyday shopping will be done here as well. It is 5-6 miles to the Gene Snyder Freeway or a couple of miles to I-71. The Paddock Shops (formerly Summit shopping center) are also located on Highway 22 just inside the Gene Snyder Freeway.

There are three golf courses nearby which will give a little variety. Persimmon Ridge is due south of Crestwood and part of the Persimmon Ridge subdivision complex. GlenOaks Country Club is located in Prospect.  It offers a great golf course, Olympic-sized swimming pool and a couple of restaurants. For a little more adventure, you could drive to LaGrange and enjoy the Eagle Creek Golf Course.  This is a public course owned by the city of LaGrange.

SCHOOLS FOR WILLIAMSGATE RESIDENTS

The Oldham County Schools are a draw for homeowners to this area as they are well regarded throughout Kentucky.

In Williamsgate, young children would start out with Camden Station Elementary School.  Their middle school years would take them to South Oldham Middle.  Oldham County High School would be their place of graduation.
